Levellr Raises $1.75M to Help Brands Build Thriving Discord Communities
We’re thrilled to announce that Levellr has raised $1.75 million in funding from a group of gaming and media industry leaders as we continue on our journey of building community insight & management tools for Discord.
At Levellr, our purpose is simple yet powerful: to help brands foster authentic, thriving spaces for fans to connect, collaborate, and grow. By providing the tools that make real-time engagement and actionable insights possible, we’re supporting a future where communities become essential for brand loyalty, customer value, and meaningful engagement.
Backed by Industry Leaders Who See the Value of Community
Founded in 2021, Levellr began as a bootstrapped operation. Since then, we’ve grown thoughtfully, reaching breakeven in Q2 of this year. But as demand for our tools has accelerated, we knew it was time to bring in the right support to help us scale.
We sought out partners who’ve built successful businesses and understand the challenges and opportunities that come with managing communities. We’re excited to have industry veterans like Dylan Collins (who sold SuperAwesome to Epic Games), Mitch Lasky (ex-Benchmark and Discord board member), and Owen Mahoney (ex-Nexon CEO), along with senior leaders from companies like Krafton, Riot Games, Amazon, and SuperAwesome, backing us. Their insights and connections will help us unlock new opportunities for our customers and drive the community space forward.
As part of the round, we're also delighted to announce that Dylan Collins, the serial entrepreneur behind companies including SuperAwesome, Jolt and Demonware, is joining the company as chairman.
Transforming Engagement into Measurable Value
When we launched Levellr, we saw a common challenge: while brands had thriving communities on platforms like Discord, they struggled to measure the real value of these spaces. Questions like “How much playtime are we driving?” and “What is the true $ value of our community engagement?” often went unanswered.
Levellr was built to change that. Our software integrates directly into community platforms like Discord and Telegram, capturing billions of data points that deliver insights on everything from engagement to sentiment. With Levellr, brands gain clear visibility into how community members contribute to the bottom line, allowing them to turn engagement into business intelligence. For example, our data shows that a Discord user can be six times more valuable than a non-Discord user—proof of the untapped potential these communities hold.
A Vision for the Future of Community-Driven Brands
Our vision is to support a world where communities are central to a brand’s growth strategy. We believe that building with fans, not just for them, is the way forward, and we’re here to help brands create spaces where community members feel actively engaged and appreciated. Levellr’s technology is designed to empower brands and community managers with the insights and tools needed to foster a sense of belonging, collaboration, and growth.
Today, we support Discord and Telegram, with plans to add Reddit integration in 2025. Our goal is to give brands a “single source of truth” across these platforms, so they can focus on building relationships rather than managing fragmented data.
Moving Forward Together
This funding round marks an important milestone, but it’s only the beginning. With a distributed team of 22 across the UK, the US, and Europe, we’re ready to take Levellr to the next level. We’re grateful for the support of our incredible customers, partners, and new investors, and we’re excited to continue building the future of community engagement together.
Thank you to everyone who’s been part of our journey so far. Levellr is here to help brands build thriving, meaningful communities for years to come.
